FLHCC Annual Meeting to Feature Dr. Paul Fronstin of the Employee Benefit Research Institute


Dr. Fronstin to Discuss the Future of Employment-Based Health Benefits


ORLANDO, Fla. (February 6, 2016) – The Florida Health Care Coalition (FLHCC), is pleased to announce Dr. Paul Fronstin, Director of the Health Research and Education Program at the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI), as the key note speaker at the FLHCC Annual Meeting on March 7, 2017. Dr. Fronstin will discuss the future of employment-based health benefits in the United States. This event is free and open to the public, and will take place at Nova Southeastern University Orlando Campus from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Dr. Fronstin will examine aspects of expected Affordable Care Act "repeal and replace" reform initiatives, and the impact that these approaches may have on how employers will provide health coverage for their employees and family members.

During the Annual Meeting, FLHCC will also provide an update on the organization’s activities over the past year, discuss initiatives for the coming year, recognize the Leapfrog “Top Hospitals” and install the new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.

“Dr. Fronstin is at the forefront of research and trends in the world of employment-based health benefits,” said FLHCC President and CEO Karen van Caulil. “We are eager to hear Dr. Fronstin’s thoughts on the future of employment-based health care and what we can expect under the new presidential administration.”
